Air Canada reported it will upgrade its direct flights from Ottawa to London-Heathrow, UK to work the daily services with its cutting edge Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Starting the following spring, clients going among Ottawa and London-Heathrow, UK will have the alternative to fly in Air Canada‘s mark lodge,featuring fully lie-flat suites, as well as the added choice of a premium economy cabin.
Vice president of network planning at Air Canada Mark Galardo said “Air Canada will offer customers travelling between Ottawa and London-Heathrow, UK the added comfort of service aboard our flagship Boeing 787 Dreamliner. With the Dreamliner, we are also now offering customers flying between Ottawa and London the additional option of Air Canada’s premium economy cabin”.
The 255-situate Boeing 787-8, arranged in three lodges of service, will be devoted all year to the course starting 29 March 2020. It will replace a 211-situate Boeing 767-300ER with two lodges of service. Air Canada also announced it is suspending the mid year regular, Ottawa-Frankfurt service. The keep going trip on this route will be worked on 24 October 2019. Clients making a trip to Europe from Ottawa the following summer will have an extra alternative to travel to Frankfurt on another occasional service given by the Star Alliance accomplice Lufthansa, which will start working on 16 May 2020 and end on 24 October 2020.
