Gulf Air, BIC and Bahrain Tourism announce new F1 packages

Gulf AirGulf air, Bahrain’s national carrier, in cooperation with the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), announced the launch of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2020 holiday packages. The collaboration will see Gulf Air and BIC offering special reduced prices on air and race tickets and BTEA facilitating hotel accommodation and tourist entry visas to Bahrain.

 

the Formula 1 packages will be available for customers flying to Bahrain from London, Moscow, Paris, Frankfurt, Baku, Karachi, Lahore, Mumbai, Delhi, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Muscat, Riyadh, Jeddah and Mafinah. Mohamed Adel Jamsheer, advertising and digital director of Gulf Air, said during the announcement: “We are pleased to work hand in hand with BTEA and BIC to support the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2020 as an attraction and Bahrain as a destination for visitors and stopovers.

 

The F1 packages will provide passengers with the opportunity to attend the largest annual calendar event in Bahrain by flying into the kingdom from many of the destinations of Gulf Air. Our customer base in Europe, Asia and the GCC will be able to choose from a wide range of different priced packages to suit any budget.

 

Dr. Ali Follad, tourism advisor and assistant director of advertising & tourism promotions, said from Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority: “We are very pleased to be part of the F1 packages with our partners. Bahrain‘s Grand Prix reflects the Kingdom’s major sport tourism sector as it raises hotel occupancy and number of inbound visitors to the event year in Bahrain.This initiative is the start of many to come in collaborations with our partners Gulf Air and Bahrain International Circuit.” Gulf Air has been the Title Sponsor of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix ever since it made history as the first Formula 1 Grand Prix to be held in the Middle East in 2004.
