LATAM Airlines Group has propelled a self-bag drop service at London Heathrow, UK airport to improve client experience. This self-service procedure enables the airline’s travelers to dispatchtheir luggage to the flight directly on the conveyor belt through machines integrated into the service counter. It intends to shorten waiting time at the airport, just as reviving the stuff dealing with procedure before security.
Discussing the new services, Edwin García, airport executive of LATAM Airlines Group stated: “This is another way that LATAM endeavors to make the movement experience as agreeable, proficient and self-guided as could be allowed. We are continually tuning in to traveler criticism and something they request the most is to have control of their excursion and their time.” The airline group is looking to implement the service across other airports in the region over the next two years.
